Vocational Services

Pathway Services Unlimited provides an adult developmental training program for individuals with developmental disabilities. Developmental training is provided through group and individualized instruction in a variety of settings.

The Developmental Training Program at Pathway Services Unlimited, Inc. shall prepare adults 18 years of age and older who are developmentally disabled to live and function in various settings by promoting independence in daily living, social integration, responsible decision-making, and economic self-sufficiency.

The Vocational Program provides the opportunity for persons receiving services to experience community and volunteer activities, learn basic skills that are needed for independence, and to develop leisure/recreational skills as well as train for work skills.

Support services may be provided depending upon your needs and where you live. These may include:

  • Psychological assessment
  • Counseling services
  • Social services
  • Transportation assistance
  • Educational services
  • Recreation and leisure education
  • Minimum nursing supervision

If you have additional needs that cannot be met at Pathway Services Unlimited, we will refer you to another community agency for help in getting those services.

Persons receiving services in this setting are learning basic work skills and appropriate work habits. The Pathway Services Unlimited Work programs are developed from needs determined by community contracts with diversified community businesses.

One such outstanding program is the Floral Program where the local funeral homes share with families the opportunity of having the floral arrangements dried and made into a wreath and / or swag as a loving memory of their loved family member.

Staff Qualifications

All direct care staff is certified as Direct Service Persons (DSP) with a high school diploma or GED certification while under the guidance of QIDP,s and Program Coordinators.
